In 1959, as a result of a public meeting, a committee was established with the aim of forming an organisation to provide training, employment and acommodation opportunities for people with a disability in the North-West and West Coast regions of Tasmania.. . From this meeting Devonfield Enterprises Inc. evolved to what it is today - a not-for-profit organisation (ABN 48 154 912 044) with a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for its client group, namely children and adults with disabilities. . . Devonfield's aim is to provide opportunities for community integration for people with disabilities and maximise their independence.. . Healthy Cuisine - Provides canteen services at local schools and colleges including Nixon Street Primary School, Miandetta Primary, East Ulverstone and Ulverstone Cenral Primary and Don Campus.. . Devon Gardening Services - Provides gardening services for businesses and individuals in the Latrobe, Devonport, Central Coast, Burnie and Kentish municipalities.
