NDS deliver the BuyAbility Procurement program – that connects buyers to disability enterprises. In NSW alone there are over 70 Disability Enterprises providing great services and goods, ranging from cleaning, grounds maintenance, digitisation, courier & mail services, recycling, printing, warehousing & logistics, kitting and much, much, more………..
NDS can identify, source & contract disability enterprises that meets your needs. In NSW, NDS has entered into Head Deed Agreements with Departments to streamline and cut down on red tape and make it easy for you to procure from a disability enterprise and deliver great social procurement outcomes…..
There are over 15 cleaning contracts involving disability enterprises across the State with various government departments, including the Department of Treasury, Community Service, Planning, Industry & Environment, Communities and Justice, in regional and metropolitan NSW.
Many of these cleaning enterprises are rapidly expanding and are responding to the COVID19 crisis and are delivering preventative and reactive sanitisation cleans. This includes:
Wesley Property Services providing additional sanitisation cleans for the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) & Births Deaths & Marriages in the Sydney CBD;
Cleanforce is providing both preventive and reactive cleans, including with the Department of Treasury’s Liverpool office. This was rapidly deployed over a week end involving a full environmental and disinfection clean – Phase 1: Detergent wipe of all surfaces within the office and external office doors, cleaning of perimeter glass, chair and tables, wash cutlery, plates, air conditioning vents, clean inside cupboards, storage areas, all computers etc Phase 2 involved repeating the process using Ethanol based Surface Hand Sanitiser. Full PPE was worn including disposable glove, full length disposable gown, safety glasses, twin filter half face respirator
Flourish Australia has been able to significantly scale up & rapidly to provide the Rural Fire Service Head Quarters with a 24/7 Sanitisation cleaning services, this includes the State Operation Centre that is coordinating the State Government’s response to COVID19.
These intensive services has included, sanitisation cleans twice daily, 7 days a week for High touchpoint & common areas, the State Operation Centre – morning wipe downs 7 days a week, keyboards, phones, chairs. RFS other buildings – 7 days a week, high touchpoint & common areas. Plus a 24/7 responsive service.
The spin-off impact is that not only is this providing 8 jobs for the Flourish Cleaning enterprise it saved a number of people who otherwise would have lost their jobs as a result of Covid on Flourish's Figtree Conference Centre.

Simon Statton, Manager Assets & Infrastructure, Infrastructure Services, NSW Rural Fire Service initiated intensive sanitisation cleaning services with NDS/Flourish Australia, in response to the fact that the State Operations Centre located in the RFS HQ is coordinating the NSW Government response COVID-19. Simon said “He was impressed by the flexibility and responsiveness of Flourish & NDS to be able to start an extensive new service from scratch. The cleaning provided by Flourish has been first class and provides great comfort to the staff here at the RFS. In fact we asked Flourish to participate in a video to provide instruction to our RFS Volunteers throughout the State”.
These cleaning enterprises provide a professional cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of clients – the services range from base cleaning (standard), day service cleaning for common areas, kitchens, meeting rooms and hot desks to more recently the expansion of these cleans to include preventative and reactive cleaning in response to COVID19.
