After a successful merger three years ago, McCallum Industries and Ballarat Regional Industries are proud to announce their rebranding as McCallum Enterprises.

This significant transformation marks a new chapter for two of Western Victoria's most respected BuyAbility Social Enterprises, united in their mission to provide employment opportunities to people with disability, developing skills and enriching their lives.

McCallum Disability Services, the parent company of McCallum Enterprises, has provided disability support services in the region for over 100 years, and the announcement of the rebrand to McCallum Enterprises solidifies the organisation’s commitment to employing people with disability in the future.

McCallum CEO, Rhiannon Williams observed that "Our new identity reflects our commitment to a more inclusive society.”

"By combining our strengths, McCallum Enterprises is set to lead the way in creating meaningful employment opportunities and breaking down barriers for individuals with disability in the region."

“This rebrand signifies more than a new name, it embodies our commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence in service as we look to innovate and enter new markets to provide more opportunities and pathways for our Supported Employees including open employment.”

“We are seeking to forge new commercial relationships in the region and, as a certified Social Enterprise, we know there are many benefits for organisations when partnering with our team at McCallum Enterprises,” Ms Williams said.

McCallum Enterprises is the largest certified Social Enterprise dedicated to employing individuals with disability in Western Victoria and proudly provides a range of work opportunities for around 200 Supported Employees.

The evolution to McCallum Enterprises will see the Social Enterprises focus their energy on strengthening established business ventures, which include providing products and services for some of Australia’s most successful and trusted brands.

McCallum Enterprises currently operates several businesses including:

- Labour hire

- McCallum Linen (Western Victoria’s largest commercial laundry)

- Timber manufacturing (export-grade timber manufacturing of pallets and crates)

- Landscaping (commercial and domestic)

- Two of Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme depots

- Food grade packaging

- Recycling (paper, cardboard and plastics)

As part of the rebranding initiative, McCallum Disability Services, the parent company of McCallum Enterprises, will hold a Community Open Day event in late 2025 to showcase their service offerings to the community.
