Westcare’s “We made this” highlights the work of employees with disability
The “We Made This” project is a social enterprise project run by The Westcare Group and is purely focussed on providing meaningful employment, training and development opportunities for people with disability.
Every item is produced, printed, bottled, packaged or put together by people with disability. Every dollar from every sale goes back into providing employment, training and development for people with disability who, otherwise, may never have experienced the life changing opportunities that employment and personal development brings.
“Every purchase through the “We Made This” project helps improve the lives of people with disability.” Rob Wilton, CEO, Westcare Inc
With ISO 9001:2015 Certification, Organic and HCCP Accreditation, customers can be assured they are receiving a superior quality product and service if they buy one of the following from the Westcare range:
Westcare is one of Australia’s oldest Social Enterprises and has operated for over 75 years. It has 205 staff, of which over 85% are living with a disability and operates from four sites in WA. As well as the extensive range of commercial products and services above, Westcare provides independent living opportunities for people with disability.
Westcare and the “We Made This” project is supported entirely through its commercial contracts and operations. Every dollar spent by commercial purchasers on the Westcare range of products will help achieve their Social Responsibility goals, as well making a difference to the lives of people with disability.
