About Castle
Creating employment opportunities and stronger communities since 1991.
Castle is a not-for-profit organisation that supports people with disability to build skills, gain employment and achieve greater independence.
Through our integrated supported employment model, people work in real jobs, alongside other employees, with the support they need to succeed. We partner with respected local employers including Kmart Waratah (retail), NSW Healthshare Laundry (linen for hospitals and health facilities) and the University of Newcastle (lawns and grounds maintenance service), creating meaningful employment opportunities that deliver value to businesses and the community.
Supported employees earn a wage, develop workplace skills, build confidence and contribute to real outcomes every day. Backed by decades of experience and strong community partnerships, Castle is committed to creating inclusive workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Castle creates meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability while helping local businesses build diverse and inclusive workplaces.
Through our partnerships with employers across the Hunter region, supported employees contribute to essential services and workplace operations every day, building stronger communities through meaningful work.
Supported employment with Castle offers:
- Paid employment in real workplaces
- Ongoing support tailored to individual needs
- Opportunities to build skills and confidence
